Future Geolocation Technology (FGT) is a Montreal based company. It was incorporated in July 2015. We specialize in the research and development of software and indoor positioning system (IPS). Currently, our most important projects are Class Compass and Mall Compass. We hope that by 2020 our product will be available all over the great city of Montreal in multiple universities and shopping malls to make it much easier for anyone to navigate in any major establishment. Our goal is to innovate within the public and private sectors alike, and to be the biggest IPS company in North America. Our mission is GLOBAL REVOLUTIONIZATION OF INDOOR MAPS AND IPS.
MTL NewTech is a non-profit organization dedicated to the success of Montreal startup entrepreneurs. Every first Tuesday of the month, a handful of startups present their innovations in front of an audience. We were happy to be there and looking forward to presenting our AWESOME app in the future.

We had a great time at the Startup Fest and we would like to thank every one that came to learn about our awesome app and try it out. Mostly we would like to thank the organizers of the event for giving us the chance to be there. And last but not least, we would like to thank Maz from MTL MAZ for his great support and pictures.
Isn’t it AWESOME? WE WON A DEMO TABLE AT THE START UP FEST! We are super happy that the organizers of the festival gave us this opportunity. This shows how they see the potential of our products and ideas. Be sure to find our demo table on July 15th at the Startup fest in the Old Port of Montreal. It’s the only day open to the great public and entry is FREE. We will be happy to present you on the spot a trial of our mobile application Mall Compass before its beta release to the general public. We are happy to announce that we are going to Montreal’s Startup fest 2017 after winning an entry ticket in the Startup fest contest. We like to expand our thanks to the festival organizer and we are happily looking forward to attend this great event. Be sure to find us from July 12 to July 15 at Startup fest in the Old Port of Montreal.
With the help of the university’s communication department, FGT has finally begun the mapping of UQAM and its integration into Class Compass 2.0 starting by the DS campus.
Class Compass 2.0 is now coded and ready for testing. This version includes the same awesome designs as Mall Compass and user friendly interface.
FGT making its way through over 60 competitors to the finals proves the recognition of the contest comity of the feasibility and potential of our concept as only the best projects from all the participants made it to this stage.
Marking the first successfully mapped mall. FGT mapped the most visited mall in Quebec. The mapping includes stores logos for easier localization on a more accurate map than Google's.
We completed the programming of the prototype for our app's malls version. It includes indoors stores selection, direction system, coupons demonstration and a completely redesigned, gorgeous and user friendly interface.
Striving toward using the latest and best technology available, FGT is joining the top elites of the tech industry by switching to React-Native. It enables us to build Native iOS and Android apps simultaneously by laveraging the power of JavaScript and ReactJS.
